27th June 2015: 500ml can between five during the 2nd Annual Midlands tasting. Sometimes you need a mouth cleanser and beer break at a tasting and this came out after around 12 beers: we needed it. Cheers Tom for this offering; poured you regular lager/pilsner clear light, straw yellow with a full but swiftly fading white head. Mild malt ester or two in the nose, a light sweetness in the flavour: OK in a sort of weird way. Certainly not offensive or nasty: just a bog standard Supermarket cheap can of lager. 440ml can from Sainsburys. Pours clear gold, short-lived thin white head. Aromas of light malt, light lemon. Taste is watery, faint herbs, maltsweet. Not a right lot going on here. Weird chalky finish. weaselkenievil (1608) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - APR 25, 2014
Can from Sinasburys, one of my go to beers when I’m poor. Why I have no idea, I don’t like it. Aroma is malty, caramel. Flavour is a little malty, something odd going on. It’s pretty poor.
