Nice sweet spice. Too fizzy though. Not bad for a homebrand lager. Bit lacking on complexity. sebsky (260) - ENGLAND - AUG 31, 2017

June 2017 - Green 500ml bottle at home in Richmond as ’Sainsbury’s Czech Pilsner Lager’, 5%, BB May 2018. Brewed in Prague. Into a heavy Pilsner Urquell tankard. Drinking this after a few hours working on the allotment in 33° heat. Perfect drinking conditions. Pours a golden orange, highly sparkling, translucent with a foamy off-white head. Aroma is a little skunky and musty, lager grains, some honey sweetness. Body is light and smooth with tingly carbonation. Taste is quite watery, faint honey-ish malt and equally faint musty hops, very crisp with a tangy aftertaste and linger. Clean and basic - enjoyable enough to drink in these conditions. 500ml bottle. Pleasant enough lager. Aroma of cereal grain and lemony hops. Significantly better than average Supermarket lager. scotty (1223) - SCOTLAND - MAR 29, 2016
Attractive golden colour, thin white head dissipates quickly. Unpleasant nose of cereal (?) with faint hints of floral hops. Sweetish malt on the palate, not much hop wise, smooth finish, doesn’t linger long. Not great, had worse!

500ml bottle into a stemmed tulip (Budweiser Budvar badged, to make it feel at home) on 5th Dec 2015. Golden, bright and clean body, snow white topping. Corn in the semi-sweet aroma, taste similar, grainy and on the sweet side. This is OK unless you prefer the hop laden Pilsners. SarkyNorthener (4765) - West Bromwich (Yorkshire Expat), West Midlands, ENGLAND - JUL 11, 2015

Bottle from Sainsburys Team Valley. It's ok really. To echo other comments, it's as expected. Quite a heavy pilsner and enjoyable enough ManVsBeer (10927) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - DEC 3, 2014
Bottle from Sainsbury’s, Salford. Slightly paler golden colour with a very thin head. Pilsner with a light character, malt nose and fairly easy drinking texture.
