Bottle. Pale Amber in colour. Hoppy; bitter grassy hops. Fruity; citrus lemon. Malty; biscuity malts, buttery caramel. Bitter citrus hops dominate slight malts. Bitter hoppy finish. Slightly harsh with a rather medicinal taste. (2010-12)
Swaroga (2213) - Warszawa, POLAND - JAN 22, 2017
Long bitterness with herbal notes. Some skunk and grains in the meantime. Nothing to do with IPA. MayumiH (1214) - Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 1, 2017

Very bitter finish, long lasting
A good IPA.
Bottle from global retailer.
Appearance - bright copper with a nice fluffy head.
Nose - dirty yeast and sulphur note. Light toffee breaking through.
Taste - toffee and biscuits.
Palate - light to medium bodied with a crunchy texture and a dry astringent finish.
Overall - can’t say this is a great example of the style. More like a badly executed bitter.

500ml bottle. It is malty, it is bitter, but smells a little strange and there is an unpleasant metallic taste to the bitter finish. vipinvelp (4370) - Velp, NETHERLANDS - DEC 22, 2015
PINT tasting. Clear orange/yellow, small foam ring remaining. Little sulfur in aroma, starts of bitter, but fades away quickly. (Arnhem 201512) olliejobbins (1578) - Dorking, Surrey, ENGLAND - OCT 3, 2015

500ml Bottle from Sainsbury’s, New Mills, Derbyshire.
An IPA is the old fashioned, moderately-hopped sense and all the weaker for it. Bland, watery and with a strange metallic finish. There’s a reason Marstons don’t have their name prominently on it.
