nice and strong with well-balanced flavour. It's a good beer for the price Sainsbury's sell it at. Good but not outstanding. kwik-lime (2116) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 13, 2017
UPDATED: NOV 13, 2017 Fairly well hopped, somewhat bitter, hints of resin, marmalade, herbs. Decent beer. kapusil (1560) - Budapest, HUNGARY - NOV 13, 2017
UPDATED: NOV 13, 2017 0.5l bottle. Clear orange body with an off white head. The aroma is a bit weak, but the taste is pleasant. Caramel and toast represents the malts escorted by a bit of cloves and a generous amount of spicy British hops. Drinkable IPA for sure. Pre-dinner bottle at a friends house where we had been invited for Sunday lunch. A true English IPA with lots of bitter hops, nicely balanced malt and pleasant mouthfeel. The alcohol was well masked and the abv took me by surprise when I had a closer look at the label. This was my sort of beer and could encourage me to visit Sainsbury's to explore the rest of their own label range.

The floral taste outdoes the hops a little too much. Not a bad IPA just not really the best. At least it is more aligned to a traditional ABV%

For a shop IPA it is quite ok and the nose is quite agreeable as well as taste. Palate rather short but for a quiet dinner in London its pk. Sigmund (8020) - Tau, NORWAY - OCT 28, 2017
500 ml bottle, from a Sainsbury Local in Whitton, London. ABV is 5.9%. Golden colour, large to moderate white head. Aroma of toffee and yellow fruits, a hint of sulphur. Medium dry flavour, fairly well hopped, some sulphur from the Burton water. DrDre (1) - SCOTLAND - SEP 15, 2017 does not count
Far too bitter, Was expecting a smooth and refreshing drink. The alcohol is very poorly hidden. Holmen1 (6635) - Stavanger, NORWAY - AUG 15, 2017
Flaske delt med Willy på brygga: klar gylden med fint skum som varer. Innbydende, floral og fruktig aroma og smak med citrus, blomster og karamell i en elegant balansert maltkropp. Lang, ren og god ettersmak. Superlettdrikkelig.
