COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Available filtered and pasteurised in 500ml cans.
Originally described as a "A traditional bitter brewed in Leeds." Confirmed that it was brewed at the "Tetley" brewery in Leeds. However, since the closure of that brewery, production has moved elsewhere, to a location that Sainsbury’s refuses to divulge.

Can thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - amber with a decent head. Nose - faint toffee and general maltiness. Taste - slightly more flavour than brown water. Some sweetness but no bitterness. Palate - light bodied with a creamy but thin texture and it falls away quickly after that. Overall - brown water.

Can - copper with a large foaming, slightly off white head and a lively body. Aroma of peach and lemon with some mild caramel. Taste of caramel, grassy hop, lemon and peach with a light bitterness to finish. Light body, low carbonation.

zacgillbanks (5359) - Tyne & Wear, ENGLAND - NOV 15, 2014
Can from Sainsbury’s, Washington. This dark golden beer pours with a foamy white head. It has a rich malty and slight burnt toffee flavour followed by red fruit and currants on the slightly thin bodied finish. Better than expected.

ManVsBeer (10800) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - FEB 1, 2014
UPDATED: FEB 2, 2014 Not as bad as you might expect from a supermarket own brand. Copper with very little head on it but it has a smooth texture with light toffee notes. Slightly sweet.

Can. Copper bronze colour with a thin white head. Sweet caramel and toffee aroma, the taste is all malt with a dry bitter finish.

berkshirejohn (6588) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - APR 22, 2011
UPDATED: MAY 2, 2011 440ml can. The tag-line is now "A traditional bitter brewed and canned in the UK" - so may not be from Leeds any more. Poured gold with a loose cream head - a reasonable looking bitter; but unfortunately there’s not much that’s good to say about it otherwise; grainy aroma; weak caramel malt flavour; and some stale hops to end with.
