500 ml bottle @home,no visible bb date. Faint malt smell, amber colour, clear. Taste of malt, carbonation helps a bit. Bland.

Dark, clear golden pour with thick, bubbley relatively quick foam. Medium/ light body with little fizz. Bitter finish. The nose is bready malt with good fruity hops. The malts tend to overwhelm the hops, but they come through in the end.

BeerViking (4788) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 30, 2017
Pours golden-brown, peppery hoppy nose with a hint of ginger, crisp and dry-bitter with that typical Sheps twang.

Bottle at home picked up from Watford Sainsbury’s. A very clear copper coloured pour with a lasting off white head. Aroma is big harsh skunky grassy hop, onion, sileage, fermented grass, hint of brown bread. Flavour is composed of nutty mlats, iron, blood, rusty penny, nutty twiggy malts. Little chalky in the finish. Palate is semi sweet, thin, highish chalky carbonation. Not very good.

Pours golden copper. Aroma of spicey slightly irony hops and some caramel. Taste is sweet, light, some mild citrus and spicy earthy hops. Not bad, better than Shepherds Neame’s attempts
