Pours a amber orange with a thin shortly lived heads. The aroma is good, malty, some notes of bubble gum, burnt sugar, and maybe some orange peel? The flavour is decent, a light touch of hop upfront, the some straight forward malty, toffee sweetness, and then finishes with another touch of hops. A pretty straight forward, light, easy drinking beer. Nothing special, but tasty, goes good with spicy Chinese. Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 3, 2008
Draught @ Cest What. Clear, copper with very thick beige head. Diacetyl, some caramel malt aromas. Sour flavors and a tiny bit of bread character. Quite sweet overall. Soft mouthfeel. Not entirely pleasant... Imperial-John (192) - Mississauga, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 21, 2008
Bottle. Amber with large white foamy head that thins quickly. Faint roasted nut hop aroma. Taste is dry, bubbly, clear and crisp with a hint of nuts. KyotoLefty (10367) - Kyoto, JAPAN - SEP 20, 2008
On tap at the Beer Bistro in Toronto.
Rich amber color, with lots of red, lovely. Rich, nutty aroma with fruit and lots of caramel. Flavor very nutty and grainy, with milk, cherries, caramel, and toffee. Dryish finish but the malt keeps working. Nice. hiphop (84) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 18, 2008
The aroma is malty, with a touch of hops. Copper, medium vanilla head. Fine malty presence, some nuttiness. Creamy with good bitterness, nicely balanced. A delicious Vienna Lager.

Tap at Beer Bistro. Rich copper-coloured beer with a thick creamy off-white head. Softly toasted malt aroma over a very clean base. A whiff of toast and soft floral hops as well. Flavour is very well-balanced. Soft maltiness with a crisp, clean finish. Lingering breadiness. It’s a very well-made, quaffable take on this style. swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - APR 2, 2008
Draft @ Beer Bistro, Toronto. Pours a amber color. Pretty simple beer but a nice session beer. Smooth drinking malty offering. Very slight bitterness. Little light in the body department but a decent beer. DerWeg (1689) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 1, 2008
Cool-brewed version on draught at C’est What, Toronto. I found the original Guelph beer very good with an almost ale-like softness and easeful coating of the mouth. A recent six-pack (2006?) was like drinking mildly-flavored water. This pint was far better. I liked the texture, the slightly nutty/sweet flavor and the restrained hops. Good session beer. cyrenaica (1143) - Milton, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 8, 2008

I tried this beer on January 18, 2008 at "Smokeless Joe’s" in Toronto. The beer poured a translucent red with a thin white head which disappears quickly. The aroma is malty and grassy. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with low carbonation. The flavour was slightly sweet, a little malt, and a lot of grass!
Tap - Beer bistro - Copper brown colour, medium off white head, Hop and vanilla aroma, malt and bitter hop flavour, some sweetness too. Mild sweet finish - Meh! nothing special
