Draft at Old York. The aroma is roasted nuts and butter. The taste is very full and buttery. Nice! CapFlu (5127) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 11, 2004
(Draught) At the Capital City Beer Festival 2004 in Ottawa. Medium, creamy, and highly carbonated head with a deep amber body. Nose is of slight lactic. Milky-malt flavour with a mildly hopped undertone. Above average. One question: Why the sole beer? Slacks (615) - Bolton, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 26, 2006
Draught @ beerbistro: THIS is made by Cool? The same purveyors of such swill as Millennium Buzz? Colour me shocked. Poured a nice amber-orange with a generous foam head. Aroma is sweet and hoppy, a light complexity that made it difficult to pick out all that’s happening. Flavour is far superior to anything I’ve had from this brewer with an excellent balance of sweet malts and wonderful, bitter hops. Completely surprised by this one, thumbs up. UPDATED: JUL 16, 2008 341 ml bottle - pours a clear amber with a foamy off-white head. Aroma of sweet grainy caramel malts.....very sweet actually. Some light herbal hops in there too. Layers of quality malt with some Saaz hop character and medium carbonation are all present. Really well balanced. Very smooth in the mouth. Refreshing and supremely drinkable - I could go through a 6 of these on a summer night no problem. A great session brew - nice to have an easy drinking lower alcohol beer that is a bit beefier than your generic pale lager. Good stuff. mannika (140) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - MAY 29, 2009
355mL bottle. Pours a clear amber with minimal head. Light aroma, slightly toasty. Flavour is tasty - bit of maltiness but with a lingering sweetness as well - kind of a roasted nuttiness. Palate is a bit strong on the carbonation. Overall pretty nice.

Flavour continues grainy yeast bread and shows some alcohol content. Medium body, gravelly feel. Good togetherness, good to repeat (great pairing with fries). Ɩ/4/6/3/13) 3.2

The aroma is malty, with a touch of hops. Copper, medium vanilla head. Fine malty presence, some nuttiness. Creamy with good bitterness, nicely balanced. A delicious Vienna Lager.
