COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Modeled after the bright, beautiful ales of Koln, our interpretation has a clean, crisp, malt character similar to a pilsner. The authentic Kolsch yeast strain pairs perfectly with our unique blend of aromatic Noble hops from Germany.

December 2015. Silver tin courtesy of Cousin Matt. Wow. What a completely un-Californian profile this ones got; aroma of soft shrub, Germanic sesame, parsley and chamois leather. Authentic, modest, lagery little beast with honeyed sherbet, sesame and green herb dabs. Dirty clean farmyard elements, rusk and cherry stone. Diaphanous straw with a slender lid and excitable carbonation. solid take on a style not easy to capture.

291216. Can from Dan Murphy’s. Thankfully this beer tastes better than it looks and smells, but only just. Very pale colour with a low white head. Light in the flavour department and medium bodied.

Draft @ the brewery. Pours a clear yellow color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grainy weak grassy aroma. Fruity malty grainy flavor. Has a frutiy malty grainy weak grassy finish.

Can. Very pale gold with a white head. Gentle aroma of spices, apricot, grains and unfortunately a bit of cardboard. 6- Then the taste (which surely should be "smooth", if fruity) has some somewhat jarring notes apple and slightly crude spicy bitterness. OTOH the highish level of bitterness is nice. OKish in an exacting but unexciting style.

Can. Clear pale golden beer with a decent offwhite head. Malty fruity aroma, caramel, grapes, some spices. Malty cardboard aroma, fruity, some spices. Kinda boring.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy straw yellow with a minimal wispy white head. The nose is grainy malt with some cooked cereal grain and bready notes. The flavor is pretty weak. Very grainy, lacking in hops all together, lots of Cheerios like notes on the back end. Lighter bodied, but yet still clingy on the finish. Light fizzy carbonation. This one was pretty bad.

Not a lot of aroma. This is pretty tasty. Light and airy with a hint of hops in the semi dry finish. Pretty decent light beer.

Draft at MCRD during a meet and greet before the Kid graduated boot camp. Grainy and bready. Decent but not great.

Can pour at dodger stadium. Can color is a nice silver with blank detailing. Aroma is of hotdogs but I’m thinking that’s not the beer, flavor is light and refreshing.

Pours clear golden with a fairly thick and frothy porcelain head. Aroma presents malty, banana and pear tones. Flavor offers fresh malt, apple and banana, and adds in some resiny hop character. Mouthfeel features decent body and lively fizz. Aim for one.
