COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The new limited hop varietal Idaho 7 made its way to Saint Archer and we’re thrilled to present a new beer with this hop as the centerpiece. Coupling the new Idaho 7 with classic Citra has provided a unique hop profile resulting in a balance of soft apricot and bright lemon. By creating a blend of classic and brand new flavors, we have constructed a fresh IPA that will provide a new take on the notorious west coast style.

Pours a slightly hazy golden orange on tap with fluffy white head that dissipates slowly to leave moderate lace. Aroma of nice pithy grapefruit and dank pine hop notes over a nice malty sweet west coast base. Taste follows, hop forward, but still some nice caramel malt base and punching bitterness. A very solid west coast IPA with a fun new hop.

This is actually pretty damn good. Whatever Saint Archer has become, they still manage to put out some good offerings. Never great, but serviceable. 12oz can

Thus was quite a bit tastier than I expected. Flavor is both citrus and hops, easy to drink as well.

Origin: USA. An experimental variety from Jackson Hop Farm in Wilder ID, first released in 2015. Usage: Primarily aroma and dry hopping due to its potent aroma and flavor, but high enough alpha acids to contribute good bitterness. Excellent as a single hop or part of a blend for IPA, pale ale, and hop-forward American wheat beers. Aroma & Flavor Characteristics: Pungent tropical fruit and citrus (think apricot, orange, red grapefruit, papaya) with big notes of resiny pine and hints of black tea.

Pour is a hazy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is a decent pretty much all grapefruit hop. Flavor is more of the grapefruit rind and then comes a sugar covered citrus. Reminds me of those orange slice chewy candies that were covered in sugar. While sweet this is not overly sweet and the hops take me back to the olden days when you first had a west coast grapefruit hop bomb.

Can pour to glass. Crystal clear pure gold wit white head. Aroma is piney and citrusy. Taste is hoppy, citrusy, grapefruit, tropical notes. I prefer Saint Archer IPA but it's very nice balanced

UPDATED: AUG 26, 2017 Thick creamy head, cloudy, amber in color, west coast IPA. Bitter up front with a light citrus smell, smooth drinking. Not a lot of bubbles, almost flat like. Sweet, fruity

Canned from Trader Joe’s. Medium golden in color. Strong sweet hoppy nose. Some nice tropical notes in there. Very bitter up front. Some pungent hop dank along with some bright tropical fruit notes. Very smooth and full flavored. Clean with a thick mouthfeel. Solid.

Clear golden. Big big big stanky ass nose of cat pee and eventually citrus and a touch of pine tree. Close to being a palate wrecker even at only 7%, though in a good way. More intense than expected, but enjoyed.
