COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
For our sophomore offering in our Nitro series, we wanted exploit that nitro creaminess, so we created our Coffee Cream Porter. We chose a Bolivian coffee with our friends from Bird Rock Coffee Roasters, which lends itself to a nougaty milk chocolate and toasted praline character. Layered with chocolate, crystal and Maris Otter malts, vanilla beans from Madagascar and lactose for that delightful creamy mouthfeel, this beer is the sweet porter that leaves you wanting dessert, especially if that dessert is another pint.

Draft sample at Urge Oceanside. Nitro pour, near black color, good foam, great lacing. Muted nose with some sweetened coffee. Flavor is pretty simple with mild coffee, not too intense, soft body. Straightforward crowd pleaser.

Nitro pour. Near black with a thin beige head. A tad thin, with moderate roast, rich cold brew coffee sweetness, and lingering roasted malts. Quite good.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours black with garnet/orange glints and a creamy tan head. Aroma is oh so coffee. Med body or so. Flavor is really good coffee with chocolate and vanilla notes. Somehow it suggests a light sour, but it isn’t. Sour, that is. It’s extremely tasty.

On tap at Final Gravity. Pours dark brown with an attractive tan head and actstrong coffee aroma. There is a medium- bodied chocolate malt flavor with lots of coffee. Could use a little more body, still pretty good. Nice and creamy.

On nitro at the brewery. It pours black with a dense light tan head. The aroma is creamy and sweet with rich chocolate, tobacco and coffee. The flavor is awesome. Sweet hazelnut creamer with richer chocolate and roasted malt supporting. Creamy and tasty with a medium roasted finish. Yum.

(En fût à la brasserie): Pile poil sur la crème de mocha et avec l’aspect nitro, on a exactement ce que ça devait être. L’amertume est modeste, un vrai lait frappé.
