good carbonation ! nice taste Love it
On tap. A very well made example, not insanely hopped but enough to be interesting. slugman (1) - USA - NOV 21, 2016 does not count
I tried this for the first time about 2 months ago and was blown away. Almost, too many citrus hops, but loved it. A bit over priced, but so delicious, although not much head or body, just great fruity flavor. So I splurged 2 times in the last month and the fruit is gone? A new formula? I don’t know what is going on, but this brew has changed BIG time. Not at all the same beer as it was. I know Miller/Coors bought them, but I am not sure that is timed with my tasting. However, regardless, it is not the same. I am going back to the new RED 79 at Trader Joes and Pup from Golden Road. Much more floral which is what I seek. 22oz bottle 8/5/16 (SNA L/O)-Pours golden with a decent sized head. Aroma of hop, pine, and slight malt. Taste of the same. This medium bodied brew is well balanced and goes down easy. Blueshawk (464) - Bad Bellingen, GERMANY - SEP 14, 2016

One of my first forays into the Holy Grail of craft beers, especially IPAs, that is San Diego. Poured from a bomber into a large wine glass. Prestige gold color in the appearance with a fluffy clean white head. The aroma and flavor is balanced between a slightly sweet malt base and the supporting cast of a perfect hop blend showcasing grapefruit and pine characteristics making this a classic example of another great West Coast IPA. asheft (3108) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 10, 2016
On tap at Petco Park. Classic c-hops pine and grapefruit aroma and flavour with assertive bitterness and a base malt in the background that holds up the hops pretty well. Medium body, medium carbonation, crisp. Almost clear gold. DruncanVeasey (8283) - Nr NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - AUG 28, 2016
Can out of Cousin Matt’s Californian selection box, 10/01/16. Gauzy pale orange capped slenderly with white. Slightly pissy, sharp, kumquat and lime squirted flowers aroma. Not the expected peach and menthol attack but something subtler and fresher with good stewed cheesy floral and soapy dragon fruit shower gel bitterness. No alcohol. Lemon curd and shower gel on crackers. Moderate bitterness. Vomit in the nose. Don’t mind it one bit.

From a bottle into a 2016 New Belgium tulip glass. Pours gold with head and lace. Aroma of pine, pink grapefruit, honey & cat box. Significant carbonation and mouthfeel. Flavors of under atenuated malts, grains, bitter herbs, straw hops, hay. Overall very bitter but not in a really enjoyable way. I should also note that this was the last bottle on the shelf at a Total Wine, and may have suffered from age and light. I’ll re-rate when I get a can or tap pour. drjoeng (1380) - SINGAPORE - JUL 13, 2016
Poured out gold. 5°SRM.
Nose has pine and fresh spice and herbs.
Thick soapy mouthfeel. Agressive bitter. Nice full pale malt palate. Sweet. Hops are pine, cilantro, bitter melon, incense.
Finish is long. Bitter. Herbaceous, fresh pine needles. Earthy.
