Darn good pale ale. Beach ready. Slight citrus flavor. A little light for serious bear drinkers but great for the summer.

In most other cities, Saint Archer Pale Ale would seem like a pretty hoppy and flavorful Pale Ale. In SD, it’s a moderately hoppy and fairly flavorful Pale Ale. Golden light orange pour with with suds. Lovely fruit-forward nose with a peachy character. There’s a great creamy feel to this ale and an equally nice crispness, but the hop flavors are nowhere near as pronounced as they are in the aromatics. At 5.2% it drinks very nicely, but it’s exactly bursting with hop flavor. erickok (6037) - Leuven, BELGIUM - MAY 29, 2017
Very pale golden. Fizzy. Reasonable hop aroma, quite different, grassy, which I like. Good stuff. Taste is a bit simpler, but especially a quite some palate, too bubbly. Overall a bit disappointing. (33cl can at Caroline’s in Berkeley) poisoneddwarf (2601) - Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho, USA - APR 8, 2017
Draft at the Radiohead concert. Pours clear golden with some white lacy foam. Taste has very light bitterness, very juicy, dank; has that creamsicle character so many hop forward beers seem to have lately. Aroma is like the flavor, some oniony hops. Tasty for a MillerCoors product for sure.

Gold in color with a fluffy head of white foam. This pale ale is very close in comparison to their IPA in character but with less pine bite and more emphasis on smooth citrus. Has a lighter grain bill with a vibrant citrus hop emphasis. snoworsummer (5917) - baltimore, Maryland, USA - FEB 15, 2017
Draft at the brewery. Pours clear gold with a creamy white head. Tastes like grapefruit hops, some pine, corn, bready malt, and straw. Light body and low/medium carbonation. Smells like grapefruit hops, some pine, corn, bready malt, and straw. sonnycheeba (6214) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - FEB 11, 2017
UPDATED: FEB 11, 2017 Tap. Pours clear yellow/gold. Aroma is pale malt, grapefruit, orange zest, light toast, and faint caramel. Flavor is generic pale ale with dry pale malt base, grapefruit hop bitterness, and a lightly toasted finish. Medium body. Ibrew2or3 (8743) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - JAN 5, 2017
12oz can pours with a clear deep gold body that supports a thin white head. The modest aroma offers up spicy hops, a bit of floral, citrus and then a mild biscuit like maltiness. The taste delivers a blend of bitter grapefruit and tangerines to go along with spicy to floral bitter hops and some biscuit malts. This is a nice Pale that’s bitter forward but maintains a pleasant body and maltiness. dwyerpg (6286) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - SEP 29, 2016
An excellent zesty hop aroma. This is nice. Very bubbly with just a hint of lemon, a pretty solid pale ale.
