Gold pour with creamy white head and lace. Aroma of citrus hops dominates, yeasty, and bready. Clove, light malt, Belgain yeast, and a citrusy bitter. Medium body with good carbonation. Not one of my favorite styles but an ok beer. thirdeye11 (6162) - Dallas, Texas, USA - MAR 1, 2012
(draught) clear gold, oily off white bubbles. Nose of belgian yeast, lightly spicy, grassy, bit caramel. Taste of belgian yeast, grassy, lightly spicy, earthy, dry finish, not bad. Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - FEB 19, 2012
On tap at Square Burger in McKinney.
The beer pours a hazy orange color with a decent-sized white head. The aroma is not too strong, with the main component coming through some biscuit malt. I don’t get too much hop character in the aroma. The hops do come through in the flavor, but they are not quite what I expected. The two main flavors are apples and bananas, but there is also a little bit of pine from the cascade hops. The biscuit malt is also present and keeps the bitterness fairly low. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. travita (5006) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUN 21, 2012
On tap at BTBF. The smell is deeply Belgian yeast with all the phenols that go with that, fruits, spice, and oranges. The look is cloudy, orange colored, and has an off white head. The taste is hops, grassy, yeast, and fruits. kidmartinek (5001) - austin, Texas, USA - FEB 13, 2012
Full, golden color with an off-white head. The aroma is of old wood and musty rocks. The taste is earthy and level. There are a lot of oak flavor fighting the yeast and malt for dominance. The lacing is intricate and the finish foamy.
