Bottle shared at Kenny’s 20k tasting - London. Cheers to Mitch his self for this beer. Pours clearish gold with a creamy, white head. The nose holds light citrus, suggestions of oxidation, pale bread. Medium to heavy sweet flavour, lightly syrupy, with some doughy bread and notable alcohol. Full bodied with average carbonation. Warming finish, sugary, with hot alcohol notes, peach, general citrus fruits, more pale bread. Just OK overall. Bottle thanks to Ken at his 20K tasting. It pours clear amber with a medium white head. The nose is malt-driven toasted grain, earthy, brown bread, dried fruits, must, cereal and a touch of nougat. The taste is earthy, oily, toasty, brown bread, toffee, wood, warming alcohol and leather with a dry finish. Medium+ body and fine carbonation. Not a whole lot of depth, but it is still pretty decent.
