COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A true German-style Kölsch. Originally brewed in Cologne, this beer is crisp and refreshing, yet has a sweet malty body that is balanced by a complex, citrus hop character. Multiple additions of German Hallertauer hops are used to achieve this delicate flavor. We use a special Kölsch yeast, an ale yeast that ferments at lager temperatures, to yield the slightly fruity, clean flavor of this beer. Fancy Lawnmower Beer is a world class brew yet light enough to be enjoyed by Texans after strenuous activities, like mowing the lawn.

Rachel brought this one back from a trip to San Antonio. +++ Sampled from a 12 oz can this beer poured a bright yellow-gold color with a large fluffy yellow-white head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was sweet and yeasty with a hint of grape. The flavor was tangy, sweet and yeasty with some artificial grape. Medium length finish. Light to medium body. Not good.

Big thanks to Bryan for this 12oz can. Looks & smells like good ol’ kolsch. Anticipating thirst quenching brew. Nice head almost goes rocky. Very good sizzly co2. At first comes on with almost too much personality but then the refreshing attitude visits in the middle. Yes, fading annoyances that go completely away in the finish. Pretty good overall beer drinkin’ experience. Good stuff right up to the end.

Tap at Nonno Tony’s, Galveston. Clear golden color, small white head. Grainy and a bit fruity. Light-bodied. Grainy, almost cardboardish, subdued fruityness. But actually this is not far from German kölsch. Something rare in USA,

They gave me this for free and it tastes good. Kinda fruity for a kölsch but your girlfriend still loves me.

4 oz. pour, on tap at The Ginger Man in Austin, Texas. Consumed on 11-6-16. Clear, pale golden. Off-white head. Significant effervescence elevates an otherwise underwhelming appearance. Buttery, chardonnay-like, dry, lightly beery aroma. Weak smell. Bland taste. A bit fruity. Mineral or metallic. Perhaps a touch vegetal. Soft in the palate. Light body. Frothier than ideal. Brings little to the table.

Can. Grassy aroma. Light bready malt upfront followed by some balancing bitterness in the finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sampled in a flight with other Texas brews at a local establishment. The appearance is straw yellow with a slight head. Lawnmower definitely seems suited as a spring or summer drink. Very little smell, grassy (fitting don’t you think). The taste is slightly citrus along some hay. Quite light on flavor. Offered one in the future I will drink it.

Bottle. It poured a golden color with a white head. The aroma was of citrus, grains and malts. The taste was similar to the aroma with more citrus, malts and grains. Decent.

Cajun (534) - Lafayette, Louisiana, USA - AUG 7, 2016
Bottle - Pours pale gold with white head. Aroma of hay, light toasted bread, flowers. Flavor of hay, lightly sweet malt, hints of lemon and a hops finish. Dry finish, too. Drinkable.

Quite normal. Not so storng but easy to dirnk. Thin and lagery. Some golden features and thin taste.
