12oz bottle pours a clear, dark orange with some clumpy white head. Nose is mostly Belgian, almost like a triple, candy sugar, malt, crackers, yeast, some citrus. Flavor is nice, sweet, yeasty, raisin, orange, a little candy sugar. Slightly watery, dry finish. This reads more Belgian style singel to me. deep amber .. light head, as is the lacing .. . on the old bastard again, donít freeze .. . light bitterness- very light fruit skin, modest yeast, and bitter caramel like monkey .. . good for a quick snort but needs more depth to be a repeat buy, but i can see what they were going for so cheers to that

Deep copper colour with very nice lacing from the head. Very balanced hops with a strong malt backbone. ansermadide (1526) - Kyle, Texas, USA - JAN 5, 2013
UPDATED: JAN 16, 2013 It pours unimpressively. The beer looks light-bodied, very clear, over-carbonated, and has horrible head retention. The color is a little red for a pale ale. The aroma reminds me very much of an amber lager, light and almost yeasty on the nose with pretty intense caramel. The flavor is also much like an amber lager (Iím thinking Dos Equis Amber), but with a higher amount of caramel malts and a better hop profile than youíd find in most of that style. Iím sorry, but I just canít get over the thin body, its lagerishness, and the basic disappointment that ensues. The only reason that Iím giving this a decent rating is because itís unoffensive. Itís not bad... just way disappointing. Too bad you canít return a partially-consumed 4-pack. ozarkspops (368) - - JAN 5, 2013
Very clear golden/copper pour. Medium eggshell head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is a mixture of Belgian yeast and malt sweetness. Not a lot of hop is the aroma. Flavor is similar, but the malt sweetness takes over. A little bit of hop spice and a more mild Belgian yeast fruitiness. Finish is fairly clean and crisp.

amber pour with a cream head. nose is funky, fruits, yeast, and sweet. smooth on the palate, sweet fruits, cotton candy, and light spice. onceblind (9442) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JAN 1, 2013
Slightly hazy golden with a foamy white head. Estery, spicy, and slightly dusty nose with some pear and pale earthy cereal grains. Peppery flavor of yeasty esters, dough, light mild herbal bitterness, sweet pale maltiness and a subtle hint of dusty spiciness with a slightly bitter finish.

A red ale with a malty backbone and some Belgian yeast flavors. Good refreshing bite and carbonation. He body is medium and the finish a little sweet and sharp finsh at the same time. It also taste a bit like dirt which isnít necessarily bad. bleeng (1681) - Seattle still not near Beersel., Washington, USA - DEC 23, 2012
Bottle. Pours bright copper/reddish with a small white head-clear. Nose is yeasty, bready, slightly mettallic with a hint of hops. Taste is very similar but with a bit more of a hop kick-but not the usual Belgian "style" hops. A hint of alcohol. Carbonation is smooth and the beer is very drinkable. Nice single session beer. Bottle. Pours amber with nice caramel head. Mild hops softened by slight sweetness and soft hints of caramel. Definitely a beer Iíd revisit.
