COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A true bohemian-style pilsner. Crisp and refreshing, this beer is perfect for a hot summer day. Saint Arnold Summer Pils has a delicate, sweet malt taste complemented by an abundant hop aroma and flavor. This beer is brewed with fine German malt, and a copious quantity of "noble" hops imported from the Czech Republic. Saint Arnold Summer Pils is best consumed at 36į Fahrenheit

A decent pilsner. Not as much grass and dryness as Iíve come to expect from a Pils, but thats niether here nor there. It looked like a pilsner with its deep gold color, no head head and heavy carbonation. It had almost 0 smell at all. The flavor was good and there was a little of a bite to this, maybe sour even.

Bottle poured a clear pale gold with thin white rim of tiny bubbles. Delicate aroma of corny malts and citrus. Flavor is mildly bitter with slight citrus notes and a dry finish. Pilsners arenít my favorite but I think this is a good summer session brew.

UPDATED: AUG 16, 2007 Nice, simple slight yeasty smell. Good clean taste, and aftertaste, and not as yeasty as the smell. Very subtle sweetness througout. Nicely carbonated. Drinkability good, but I prefer non yeasty pilsners like Scrimshaw.

UPDATED: DEC 21, 2007 12 oz. bottle from Zinister. Pour is a bright golden yellow with a nice fluffy white head. Aroma is dirty hops. Taste is a bright hop, some earthiness (hay) and a touch of funk at the end that isnít unpleasant, just a bit surprising. Thanks again Michael.

Tasty brew. Mild sweetness with a full but not overpowering hop flavor that is rare in most American pilseners. Would go really well with a burger.

(Bottle) Pours a yellow color with a mediocre white head. Some malt and grain in the taste. Also, a slight metallic aftertaste. A good pilsner, but slightly overcarbonated.

12 oz. bottle via trade with IrishBoy - Pours a crystal clear light golden color with a one finger thick white head. Light spotty lacing. Very light carbonation. Aroma is grain, grassy hops, and light skunk. Flavor is light grain and herbal hops. Light body. No lingering after taste. A very nice and easy drinking Pils. One of the better US Micro Pils Iíve had. Thanks Richard.

Bottle. Hoppy aroma and flavor, somewhat skunky. Crisp, but not too great.
