Bottle, many thanks to Radimd.
Golden orange color with minimal white head. Malty, yeasty aroma with notes of lemon. Taste, malt, grassy hops, lemon. Light bitterness in fruity finish. Refreshing beer.

WOW, For a pilsner this beer tastes friggin great!!! I’ve never tasted a pilsner with so much complexity. Beutiful white head that leaves a little something down the glass...I LOVE Saint Arnold Beers and here’s another to prove why!!

Pours with a largish, foamy white head covering a clear, hay colored body. Suprisingly good retention and lacing. Aroma is fruity and citrusy (grapefruit) with some hay. Slightly bitter, but mostly bland taste. Watery mouthfeel.

PorterPounder (7894) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - DEC 7, 2004
Pours a sparkling medium golden with thin but persistent white head. Aroma has a slight wort-like quality to it but not over apparent. Slightly dry flavor with hints of butter and yeast. Hints of honey make their way in there as well. Mouthfeel is fairly pleasant. Not a bad Pils.

Bottled. Poured hazy pale golden with a dense, sticky white head. The aroma picked up bread and honey sweetness, with accents of grass and lemon zest.. a little dank on the back of the nose.. not bad. The flavor found similar malts at the core, with honey leading.. dry and grainy on the edges, with dusty lemon and a touch of related sourness.. too much sugarage to really be refreshing.. just OK. Light-bodied, dry, and grainy on the palate, with prickly carbonation and other sourness on the edges.. decent feel and flow.

Sampled at an ESBLS tasting. Clear honey gold. A smallish white head. Light carbonation. Honey flavor. Also, some decent grain and malt. Throw in a dash of earth. Not a bad beer.

a sim rate: (on tap at Flying Saucer in Houston, TX) Nice flavour. Almost fruity - malty. Smells a bit like sweaty fingers. Slightly soapy flavour. Nice sweet aftertaste.

Bottle:   Pale straw, fairly clear, thin white head, sparce lacing, sparce carbonation.   Strong assertive grassiness and straw on the nose.   Sweet grassiness up front, strong hay/straw in a sweet sorta way.   More flavorful than most Pilsners.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Pretty hefty maltiness... me like!   Soft straw/hay lingers, not as sweet as the start tho.   This was fairly nice.   Not sure why you would want to drink it as cold as the suggested 36F tho given its pretty tasty.   Thanks for the bottle Bill!

bottle, big foamy head that fades to soap, golden yellow color, malty nose with a malt flavor and hop finish

On tap: Straw hue with little head and no lacing. After a deep inhale, detected a very light nose of german hops, toasted malts, flowers, and hint of wheat. Mild hoppy bitterness and malt sweetness taste, finish is clean. Thin and watery mouthfeel. Not much here. Well it's somewhat refreshing for a 1st beer after a 103 degree day in Houston.
