12 ounce bottle. A big white head and a hazy golden beer under. Plenty of carbonation. This beer is gentle with soft fruit and yeast. Hops are quite light. Yeast is in front here. It offers both Kolsch and hefe notes. Fruit flavors grow with warmer temps. It finishes like a dry hefeweizen. I like this beer and it defies style. doubelknv3 (1093) - Illinois, USA - OCT 13, 2013
Cloudy, golden-orange, with thin off-white head. Citrus, wheat, and mild floral aroma. Medium bodied, tart, tongue tingler, lasting bitter finish, ok balance.

The beer pours decently with a nice hazy straw color with an okay white head but very little lacing on the glass. The beer smells decently with good notes of orange, lemon, and mild corriander but not overly powerful or strong. The taste is okay with mild favors of citrus (ornage and lemon) and mild spices but very mildly. The mouthfeel is decent with a bitter aftertaste and okay carbonation. Overall, an average hefewizen, nothing spectacular that I cant get from a local brewer. rosenbergh (11799) - Tampere, FINLAND - SEP 21, 2013
12 oz bottle. (Albertsons) Lafayette, LA.
Cloudy orangey golden colour with a tiny white head.
Wheat, Belgian style yeast and mild bitterness in the aroma.
Yeast, malt and mild sweetness in the flavour. Quite enjoyable. Tasty.

12 oz bottle at Seasons 52...
Nose is very hefe, banana, lots of clove, wheat, other spices...
Pours a hazy gold color, small white head, minimal lace...
Taste is wheat and clove, some sweetness, pretty much like the nose...
The body is medium, decent drinkability, average-to-heavy carbonation...
Solid stuff, but not a kolsch really at all. The hefe flavors dominate.

Bottle, 12oz. It’s a hazy, orange-golden beer with a small, white head. Quite a few microfloaties as well. Lots of bubblegum on the nose, with lemon and some orange, a touch of wheat and cloves. The cloves are more present in the flavor, especially in the finish, with the bubblegum, banana, lemon and wheat present all the way. It’s quite lemony sour on the palate, medium to thin bodied, and with a too hard carbonation, although not effervescent. Long finish. In my opinion, there’s too much bubblegum and acidity in this one, but at least it goes down easily. Until the gas makes it too filling. 130829 COMRADEJOSH (320) - Gainesville, Florida, USA - AUG 11, 2013
The commercial description is wrong as I definetly am drinking this from the bottled version. The hefe yeast does add a good fruit and banana aroma. On taste though it leaves something to be desired a bit on the watery side the base is to simple for this yeast should be maltier but a kolsch is known for crispness. It is trying to be two things at once and not doing to well being a kolsch base and hefeweizen yeast. An interesting experience and drinkable but more novelty than something I would want to go to again and again. Lupulucid (189) - - JUL 22, 2013
Although this is supposed to be in the Kolsch style, the Hefe yeast has changed the expression significantly. It’s not like any Kolsch I’ve had, but the results are a profound improvement over the base metal as it were. This is an altogether pleasant beer which might benefit from more intensity, but others may find sufficient. It is both crisp an clean with balance but appealing yeast expression leads. Pours a hazy golden, not much head. Zesty, wheaty aroma has a lemony and slightly sweet overtone. Rich, wheaty aroma has definite lemon and yeasty notes and a hint of banana. Texture is fairly fizzy but on the watery side. Give it a whack. CarloOG (57) - Austin, Texas, USA - JUN 25, 2013
Hazy golden pour with a 1/2 inch soapy white head. Banana, clove, yeast, grassy. Light body, taste much like aroma with a slight lingering bitterness.
