3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Light gold, dissipating white head. Nice aroma, bready, hops, yeast, bit floral. On the thin side, light, a bit frivolous, but tasty, leans bitter. Wouldn’t be averse to sessioning it.
Can. A kolsch with hefe yeast? Cloudy look and spicy clove banana taste is more hefe than anything else (though the base beer before the yeast change up was a kolsch, but I don’t see how that matters). Decent & refreshing. Cajun (541) - Lafayette, Louisiana, USA - JAN 30, 2017

Draft at Houston airport at Ruby’s in terminal E. I was confused about this until I read the description. I get the German Hefeweizen and had to do a double take. Best kolsch ever! Bubblegum and funky. Glad I tried this.
