COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The first release in our Moveable Yeast series, Weedwacker is the result of our pitching Lawnmower wort (wort is the unfermented beer) with Bavarian Hefeweizen yeast. Weedwacker will be available draft only. This is a study in how different yeasts have different effects on beers. Note: As the base beer for this beer is a Kolsch, this beer will remain in the Kolsch style.

Can. A kolsch with hefe yeast? Cloudy look and spicy clove banana taste is more hefe than anything else (though the base beer before the yeast change up was a kolsch, but I don’t see how that matters). Decent & refreshing.

Draft at Houston airport at Ruby’s in terminal E. I was confused about this until I read the description. I get the German Hefeweizen and had to do a double take. Best kolsch ever! Bubblegum and funky. Glad I tried this.
