Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of over ripe fruits. And the flavor is pretty much like the aroma.

Black color. The aroma is simple. Some flavor of caramel, light roasted malt, chocolate. The final has also light coffee and milk. Not bad.

Rather thin and without much depth or complexity. Disappointing.

Bottle from ericandersnavy. Pours a pretty dark brown/black with a two-finger tan head. Aroma strongly suggests chocolate. Medium body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is dark toasted malt, chocolate, maybe vanilla. Aint no imperial stout, but it has lots of flavor. Finishes slightly chalky with mildly burnt malt and chocolate. Could be a little coffee. Theres some fresh flavor running through it. Like lactose. Pretty nice drink. Fortunate Houstonians.

Cask at Flying Saucer. Pours a dark brown with a medium creamy beige head leaving sticky lacing. The aroma is chocolate and roasted malts. Thin mouthfeel with coffee roasted malt and chocolate with the milk in the finish. An interesting variation on the winter stout.

On tap at Flying Saucer. A very dark brown with a light tan head. The aroma is a strong roasted malt and coffee. The taste is also a strong roasted malt with a dry finish. I was waiting awhile to finally try this and was a little dissapointed but still fairly good.

Thanks to pdee for sharing this bottle. Pours nutty brown, mahagony with an edgy off-white head. Aroma is antiseptic (bandaid) and caramel malt, toffee, alcohol, light chocolate and perfumey hops. Medium sweetness, light caramel malt flavor, medium acidity, low sweetness. Dark bodied and thin, oily palate.
