This beer was a pleasant surprise - which is not to say that it was great, but rather a unique and fun beer. Very thin appearance and whiff of booze made it seem like something in the Duvel family. Overall impression is of a Belgian to which some west coast hops have been added (plus the Rhub’ from the name). Not hoppy to the extent you would expect from an IPA, but a nice light clean and refreshing experience.
Hazy with a nice foamy head. Aroma is vaguely grapefruit and vaguely rhubarb. Not really a typical IPA, almost geuze-like in taste, tartness balanced by the fruity seeetness (rhubarb I guess, though the flavour isn't obvious). Easy to drink and I quite liked it

Z: słodko, ciasteczko, jakby ten rabarbar? Niech będzie. S: ciekawa baza slodowa. Taka w babeczkę z czymś gorzkim, lekko kwaśnym. Finisz piekacy nimbleprop (8708) - SouthWest, Washington, Washington DC, USA - SEP 28, 2017
33cl bottle at City Blues, pours a hazy light yellow with some frothy, white head. Nose doesn't read IPA, its vinous, straw, some white pepper, yeast. Flavor doesn't have any rhubarb, there's light grist, yeast, pepper, straw, some lemon. Dry finish, but simple. trapped (3483) - New York, TURKEY - SEP 20, 2017
Draught @ Albion. Pours hazy pale yellow with small white foamy head, faint earthy aroma, low carbonation, mildly earthy taste, smooth body, medium finish. Smooth and easy to drink. jjsint (3429) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - SEP 18, 2017
Bottle from Best One Bedford. Light yellow, cloudy. A tiny bit of white head. Candy sugar aroma with touches of fruit. Could be rhubarb, it's not exactly clear, but it's pleasant. Bitter chalky taste which has a bit of sweetness mid-sip before turning medicinal again. A touch vegetal in the finish. Very heavy carbonation in the mouthfeel. Not an amazing IPA but drinkable enough.

6.9%. Heldere gouden kleur en een goede kraag. Ruikt fruitig, citrus, orange. Smaakt fruitig, zoetig, citrus. gyhallmanti (624) - Groningen, NETHERLANDS - JUL 22, 2017
33cl bottle at home. Pours a clear orange colour with a medium soapy head. Aroma of caramel, sugar, rhubarb, malt, citrus, orange, sour apple. Taste is fairly sweet, moderate bitter, slight acidity with a low dry finish. Notes of caramel, sweet malt, citrus, rhubarb. Texture is oily, medium bodied with low carbonation. Seems unbalanced. tmdaines (128) - Stretford, Greater Manchester, ENGLAND - MAY 13, 2017
Quite fruity with a sharp finish. Would have liked more rhubarb. Nice, but could be so much more. Cokemonkey11 (1050) - - MAY 9, 2017
Bottle, La Salamanzar, Toulouse. Pours medium amber with a thin white foam residing. Scent is strong fruity IPA notes, masked by the moldy dungeon in this pub. Taste is consistent with sour notes of citrus and dark fruit. Some properties of Belgian Abbey ale. Finish is smooth. Great.
