Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, malt, and some metal from the alcohol, leading to a dry alcoholic finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Bottled (backlog). Hazy orangeish amber colour with a small off-whit ehead. Aroma is floral, some rosehip, mild herbal notes to it. Flavour is beetroot, some floral notes as well as mild herbal notes. Simplistic and quite different, yet very nice imho.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear deep golden with an off-white head. Odd spicy aroma. Medium body, roasted malt and dry fruits with a vague spicy edge from the chicory - but it’s not really dominating at all. Dry finish. 110110

UPDATED: APR 28, 2005 Bottled. Hazy amber. Fruty aroma with some hempish notes, which I assume derives from the chicory. Light bodied with fairly clean mouthfeel. Strong character of white wine. No bitterness. An interesting, unusual beer.

Tasting at Papsø’s
Cloudy orange-amber color; creamy head. This is a collection of flaws: vegetables aroma, light yeast, cabbage flavor, alchol presence... And the malt is very subdued; low bitterness. Useless experiment.

330ml Flasche. Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes orange-rotes Bier mit sehr wenig Schaum. Geruch leicht hefig würzig, Chicoree. Geschmack hefig würzig, Chicoree, insgesamt aber alles schwache Aromen.

33cl bottle from Terre de Boissons, Calais. Hazy orange copper colour thin ivory head. It’s an ok beer. Some almost fruity flavour, a bit like rhubarb or a slightly reddish root fruit. Base beer is fine. Yep, drinkable enough.
