I found this bottle at the moustache blanche in Paris. I drank it today at Bonfol just before the meal, best before 02/2018. In my point of view, it is a charming witbier, yellow and creamy body, troubled, white foam, normal carbonation. The taste is malty, good wheat, fruity, orange skin, coriander, buttery, some hop, a bit watery and well balanced, on the Belgian way.

Average frothy white head. Good lacing. Mostly diminishing. Cloudy average-density light-yellow body. Aroma: light malty, citrus lime, banana, coriander and vanilla. Initial flavor: light acidic bitter. Final flavor: light sweet acidic bitter; average duration. Palate: light medium body, dry and watery texture, lively carbonation, light astringent finish. Pleasant malty-sweet grain flavor (often with a honey and/or vanilla character) and a zesty, orange-citrusy fruitiness. Refreshingly crisp with a dry, often tart, finish. Segue diretrizes do BJCP, mas nao apresenta nada de especial. Hop bitterness(estranho, nao me lembrou muito lupulo) is low to medium-low, and doesn’t interfere with refreshing flavors of fruit and spice, nor does it persist into the finish. Faltou cremosidade prevista nas bjcp. 15 s

Bottle sample at a tasting at Lior’s place. Thanks avrashi. Cloudy yellow with white head. The aroma has notes of candy, ripe fruits, some spiciness and orange peels. Sweetish and sourish flavor, quite spicy with notes of orange peels, wheat and black pepper. Medium-bodied. Quite refreshing.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Lior D’s place. Thanks avrashi. Cloudy yellow with a white head. Aroma of coriander, wheat, citrus. Rather dry flavor, slightly sweetish, wheaty, with citrus and a bit of coriander. Lively carbonation. Quite nice and refreshing.

Bottle at Maison du Steak, Cambridge. Hazy yellow, a decent white head. Weak aroma of spice, lemon/orange and fresh bread. Sweet and satisfying taste with a tartness cut short by an abrupt finish. Watery mouthfeel. Not a great beer.

Hazy paleish gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and crisp and semi dry. Airy thin malts, little dry cream. Yeasty mid. Ver mild citrus on the back end followed by dry floralness and a dry finish. Very meh!
