Head is initially small, fizzy/frothy, white, fully diminishing.
Body is hazy medium yellow, bottle conditioned.
Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain), lightly hoppy (flowers, herbs), lightly yeasty (cobwebs), with notes of coriander, lemongrass, orange/lime peel.
Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter.
Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter.
Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
A pleasant, clean rendition, but frankly I’m not a fan of the style and even the mighty St. Germain can’t change that fact. A solid beer for what it is, though, no doubt...aromatic and well-balanced. thebeertourist (5189) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 17, 2009
bottle from Cave à Bulles. Hazy, pale yellow with a white head. Quite spiced fruit aroma, hints of coriander and orange zest. sweet fruity flavours balanced by vaguely acidic orange and bitter coriander. Medium body. A well-crafted wit. 17thfloor (2444) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JUL 8, 2009
750ml bottle. Wow... no love for this one? Pours just like a Wit should, slightly hazy light yellowish gold with a nice creamy white wispy froth on top. Aroma is slightly tar t and sour, mild coriander, light yeast. Flavor follows aroma, nice and light and quite well balanced, not overly spiced which can be very annoying, lightly tart and sour, light citrus, hint of fruit from the yeast, finishing with coriander. Dry, crisp, light and delicate, just like a Wit should be. I could see how this would be very boring is poured really cold... too delicate for that temperature. Perfect body for a Wit, crisp and light, super refreshing, lightly chalky with lively fizzy carbonation. rosenbergh (11793) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAR 20, 2009
330 ml bottle. Finland.
Hazy yellow colour with quickly vanishing white head. Very carbonated. Citrus, yeast, wheat and some spices. Yeasty and wheaty flavour. Too fizzy. OK but I was expecting a bit more. Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - FEB 21, 2009
(BBE 11/08) Dark yellow colored with hazy appearance. Little white head. Strongly yeasty and sour grape aroma, spices also here. Thin to medium bodied, carbonated palate. Flavor is somehow round with lemon, yeast and spices, not too interesting.

Bottle 330ml, best before 10-2009. Colour is muddy yeallow. Aroma is mostly yeast and citrus. Taste is light (name "blanche" says it all), in aftertaste citrus comes up smoothly. Kavu (5125) - Helsinki, FINLAND - DEC 6, 2008
Pours hazy yellow with light head. Mild aroma has some wheat, just like the flavor, which could be a bit stronger. Easy, tasty and forgettable. Archibaldo de la Cruz (1120) - FINLAND - OCT 13, 2008
Bottle. Hazy pale yellow colour with a medium white head. Aroma of citrus and wheat malts. The flavour is sour, citrus and yeast. Light to medium-bodied, quite soft and refreshing beer. TEJA (3256) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - SEP 1, 2008
Big white foam that lasts. A litle clowdy but not too much.
Aroma of bananas and a litle citrus. In the taste the citrus is more pronaunced. Medium body. esox (1226) - Oulu, FINLAND - AUG 2, 2008
Hazy yellow beer. Medium head is white and a bit soapy. Aroma is fresh and spicy with wheat malts, mild banana and maybe grape fruit. Some fruity yeast aroma. Almost no hops at all. Flavor is sweetish sour with mild but peppery spiciness. Palate is very fresh, a bit sprakling and foaming, still soft. Light to medium bodied. Page 24 Blance is quite a nice witbier.
