En bouteille de 75 cl with Sophie. Noire a mousse beige peu persistante. Nez : un peu (seulement un peu) comme une Chimay avec chocolat, caramel, fruits noirs, pruneau, m�re (square) ... Bouche : fra�che (square), un peu de sucre, de fruits, d’amertume, du caramel. Bonne brune.

Poured deep copper, offwhite head. Aroma of moist dried fruit. Lovely Belgian mouthfeel. Lots of little thrilling fiz. Smeet malt marzipan, almonds, roasted sugar. Strong alcohol burn. Very balanc d brun. Fantastic beer from Rory Duncan.

Taste is slightly dry roasted, weeds, roasted grain, toast, hay, paper, burnt caramel, yeast, candy sugar, rye, minerals. Medium bitterness, slightly dry and harsh mouthfeel. Fair enough.
