bottle from Village de la Bière. Hazy amber colour, large off-white head. Fruity nose. Malty, shy hints of caramel, fruity with a dry hoppy character. drjay44 (3890) - Salida, Colorado, USA - MAY 23, 2011
750 ml. Swing top bottle. Served at cellar temperature. Pours a thick, fluffy, rapidly collapsing, light beige head, with extensive lacing, over a clear, amber (SRM 9) body.....nose is light cinnamon, allspice, bit of toffee/caramel, light fig, plum, citrus.....taste is sweet malts with light brown sugar to start, then light fruits, apple, pear, plum, fig, finishing with a mild floral sweetness, musty tones throughout....mouth feel, light, carbonation adds light spritz. This meets the style, but is lighter than many in a number of characteristics. The malt is not forward enough, and the aroma is almost cola like in some of its qualities. 0,33 l. bottle from Vinbørsen, Copenhagen. Hazy, amber colour. The head is creamy with some bigger bubbles, white in colour and long lasting. Some laceing. Aroma has spiciness, sour apples and perhaps vinegar. I get malty caramel, cinnamon and sour fruits in the medium lasting finish. A nice, warming, complex beer Bragesnak (5393) - Aarhus, DENMARK - MAR 1, 2011

Bottle 33cl @supermarket Saareguemines. A clear copper beer with medium head. Smell is nice, malty ad fruity. Aroma is sweet, smooth, malty, some caramel notes, very nice hopy side slightly resinous. Fruity part is nice too, not too heavy a mix between orange, apricot and honey. Really a good beer. swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - JAN 26, 2011
draft at Blue Monk, Buffalo. light to medium pour, little aroma, nutty, fruity, toasted maltiness flavor. Some fruitiness, pretty flat & boring Sammy (12995) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 20, 2011
Reddish tinged body, no head, enjoyed on tap at The Blue Monk. Yeasty aroma, good yeast in taste. Some fruitiness and hops. Decent drinker, fine for the style as well. Strykzone (7797) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - JAN 11, 2011
Had at an ESBLS tasting. An amber pour with a thin head. The nose was of over ripe fruit and malt. Light fruit, apple butter, and light spices. A theme of apples ran throughout and that gave the beer a bit of an edge. Somewhat tart and slightly bitter. Not overly flavorful but nicely complex.
