A true amber beer from Nord. It also respects the conditions of Saveurs en or. Its slightly roasty taste is obtained using torrefied malts.

750 ml swingtop bottle, from Vinmonopolet, nettbutikken. ABV is 6.9%. Deep golden to amber colour, big to moderate white (or slightly off-white) head. Spicy and herbal aroma, hints of flowers and honey too. The flavour is fairly sweet and malty with caramel and moderate hops, hints of honey, the alcohol is noticeable. Lacks the crisp freshness of the Hildegarde Blonde.

Bottle. Clear amber pour, off-white head. Sweet malt, caramel, fruit, and some light hops. Easy drinking.

Pours a good-looking hazy deep amber body with a finger-width of white foamy retention. Smell is fruity, with some deeper sweet malt tones and hints of Belgian yeast. Taste is well-rounded, with a smooth complexity of red berries, peaches and hints of hay embedded in Belgian-style yeasty molasses and slightly roasted malts. Sweet, yet fresh in every way. A delicious beer; light-bodied and drinkable despite the high ABV - this is what I’d call a good summer beer.

Bottle. DØE Tasting, French beer. Pours a clear and copper beer with a weak offwhite head. The aroma is malt, sweetness and fruit. The flavor follows the nose. The palate is sweet. Overall a beer just above average.

Not bad, not great. Nice label. Swing top opened with a good "pop". Poured with a smallish cream colored head that quickly faded to almost none and no lace. Color is a slightly hazy amber with some sediment bits. Aroma is nice with malt caramel a little fruit and hops. Flavor is not as full of character: malt a bit roasty a bit of acid a bit of fruit. Body is ok with lots of carbonation which, I’m not sure if it helps or not. Finish is like flavor and fairly short.

Bottle. Amber pour with a soft, white head. Very malty aroma, some spices. Flavor holds more malts, some light fruitiness, sweet caramel, bread and yeast, all-spice, some bitterness towards the end. Medium body, mellow carbonation. Pretty nice.
