Nose was quite farmy, barnyardy accents. Spicyness and hops are sensed. Pours hazy gold, with a large foamy head. lots of funk coming from the nose. Most notable character besides the complex spicy taste was the really dry finish. A good light beer that with notes of banana, spices, and a nice subtle tartness. Probably would pair with fish or a desert. dchmela (3061) - Orlando, Florida, USA - APR 8, 2010

Damn. Nose is honey, bready, cracker malts, dusty yeast, light golden fruits. Taste is lightly sweet, lightly bitter, with fruity, peppery, and dusty yeast, a good dose of honey, very floral hops, and golden raisins. Medium body is moderately carbonated and silky. Awesome, awesome beer. Thanks for the recommendation TAR! brainlair (236) - Maryland, USA - MAR 3, 2010
Bottle, thanks to ryan! Slightly cloudy amber with a thin head and a little bit of lacing. Smells great, with sweet raspberries, yeast and grass. Tasty, with a great yeasty barnyard flavor, and a nice bitter hoppy finish.

(750ml swing-top bottle, BB 08/20/10) Pours a lightly hazy yellow body with a medium white head. Aroma of grass, florals, nuts, caramel, orange, and pepper. Flavor of grass, caramel, nuts, pepper, and earth with a dry, bitter finish. notalush (5866) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JAN 17, 2010
750ml swingtop - hazy golden pour, with fairly good head retention - earthy tartness and light acidity hit the nose first, but honey, wildflowers, and a slight muskiness follow behind that - these are what manifest in the flavor at first, especially the honey and wildflower character - a bit of bitterness arrives through the middle, and a faint kick of acetic acid perks the tongue up a bit - some toasted grain and yeast arrive in the lingering sweetness of the finish - another subtle, well-balanced beer from this brewer. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - JAN 12, 2010
