pours amber yellow, pretty lacing and micro bubbles. Initially sharp hoppy bitterness, followed by a fragrant banana-honey and then malty middle, and then a dry finish at the top-back of the throat. Bitterness lingers. A creamy bittersweet smooth beer with medium body, medium complexity, medium depth, and medium length. Overall above average but not the flavours I’m looking for. gunnar (9087) - Sandnes, NORWAY - JUL 12, 2011

Bottle at the Rake thanks to Richard. Hazy gold lasting off white head. Yeasty aroma. Decent fullness in mouth. Some spice. A bit like a Belgian spicy blonde beer with elements of biere de garde. Quack-Duck (9484) - Down South, GERMANY - MAY 26, 2011

It’s a bit too sweet for my taste, but I clearly recognize this as a remarkable blonde. Pours with a think resilient white head and a golden body. Give it a whiff and you’ll likely find it florally and fruity, with somewhat of a grassy nose. It’s one of the sweeter ales I’ve tried recently and, after drinking half of the 75cl bottle, I grew somewhat averse its sweetness. The citrus and honey flavors seem to dominate the taste. For me, the taste is saved by a distinctly bitter finish.
