Draft at Tivoli Brewing Tap House. Reddish amber and clear appearance with a white head and light lacing. Aroma of dark fruity esters, caramel malt, bread, mild Belgian yeast, toffee and a light herbal spice. Similar flavor, adding moderate sweetness and light to mild bitterness. Medium to full body with a smooth finish. Nice.

750 ml bottle from Tavour. The beer is a dark brown with a khaki colored head of velvety foam. Great head retention. The aroma has notes of candi sugar, plum, dark chocolate, some roast. Sweet and boozy taste. Gets sort of dry in the finish. Big body, thick mouthfeel, soft carbonation.

Hazy plummy deep Amber hue under a thin ivory cap. Big boozy and brash nose thatís raisin-y, meaty-malty and dark and belgianish. Big full palate thatís plummy and raisiny other some dark Belgian malts, light stone fruit, a touch juicy, quite boozy, and plummy Belgian bready finish with a dark malt sweetness and some raisins. Really plain, colors inside the quad lines. Just kinda dark, stone fruity and boozy. Not much else to it.

"Well, after a couple weeks of supposedly having this beer on tap, it finally was. The problem was obvious, as the beer was still flat. At first I was too distracted to know that other from the lack of any bubbles and flat feel, this was a good brew. Dark fruit, spices, slight alcohol and bread. Nice aroma and even better flavor profile. If it was carbonated, itíd be their best. Still not too shabby. 2nd time well carbonated...at least a 4."

Draft at the brewpub. Pours a deep, dark violet brown color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have sweet malts, caramel, some candi sugar, over ripe fruits, syrupy, hints of wood and spices, warming alcohol to the finish. The board had the abv as 10%.
