Bottle. Tasted together with 2004-version. 2005 was much better. Round sweet and with good palate. Wonderfull aroma and taste. 2004 version much more watery.

UPDATED: MAY 11, 2006 Rerated at Benny, bottled. No changes - still good. Bottle, at home (051216). Amber with white head, mostly diminishing, fair lacings. Aroma moderate malty and light to moderate hoppy with some spices (roasted, clove, caramel, orange). Flavor moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter, average duration. Light to medium body, oily, soft carbonated. Moderate in alcohol. Fine balanced Christmas ale.

750ml bottle. A very drinkable beer. Spices are almost absent until the end. Malty and very sweet. Not a Christmas beer in my mind, it doesnt warm me like a true Jule brew. However I will be buying some more, but maybe not at Christmas!

sunevdj (4106) - Copenhagen OE, DENMARK - NOV 30, 2005
UPDATED: APR 10, 2007 Clear golden amber with an off-white diminishing head. Very sweet and malty. Also aromas of fruits, whiskey and metals. Full bodied and creamy. Long dry, vinous finish. A bit too sweet; but then again, it is a christmas beer. 10-04-07 Had a 2-year-old. Had aged well.

75cl bottle from Auchan. Amber beer with lasting white head. Pretty standard amber beer to be honest. Some candy sugar and hop on aroma. Some drying spicy hop on the end and candy sugar. Bit indistinguished

On tap at Fynske Øldage, Odense, Denmark. Malty and sweet aroma. Clear, amber beer with an off-white head and low carbonation. Citric and sweet flavor. Miss the Christmas-feeling in this one, but it is not bad at all. (051029)
