(Bottle, Chez Moeder Lambic Saint-Gilles, Brussels, 16 Oct 2015) Hazy golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with notes of bready malt, honey and peaches. Malty, fruity taste with dried fruit, honey, dried peaches and a fairly sweet finish with low bitterness. Almost full body, soft, with a certain sweetness. Well balanced and tasty. Quite nice. Pours a clear golden blond beer with a big foamy white head. Has medium saturation.
Smells solvent, soapy, unnatural.
Tastes bitter. Palate is bitter with a hint of medicine.
Something about this beer feels off. Syfher (494) - Brussels, BELGIUM - DEC 15, 2014
UPDATED: JUN 6, 2017 Bottle of 33cl, in a Tumbler glass; from the fridge.
Warm golden color with orange notes, soft and gentle aroma.
We got nice honey and spicy notes with a lil bit stronger malt taste.
Go try it ! That one is a good one ! Alengrin (5722) - BELGIUM - OCT 7, 2014
Classic Wallonian honey beer since 1996, tasted from a 75 cl bottle years ago. A warm golden colour with orange hue, soft and gentle maltiness, spicy notes and complex, elegant honey sweetishness. I remember I liked this a lot, time for a re-rating. tderoeck (10195) - Gent, BELGIUM - SEP 4, 2014
