Another thanks to BDR. Cloudy gold color with no head. Light honey and a strong spicy wheat aroma. The honey tastes quite fermented out and dry. Fruity yeast, slightly sweet malt character and a barnyardy finish. Christian (13882) - Odense, DENMARK - JUN 25, 2009
Cloudy orange with a small white head. Herbal and spicy aroma with some alcohol. Sweet and fruity flavour rather plain. bhensonb (15852) - Woodland, California, USA - MAY 7, 2009
Bottle. BB 2011. Orange gold color with a transient white head. Fruity aroma. Med. body with mild carbonation. It’s lightly sweet and rather floral. Finishes towards, but not at, dry. This one is different from the common herd. Develops some bitter with time. Good drink. hughie (3996) - Bedford, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 21, 2008
Hazy gold with a white head. Sour shoe polish aroma. Taste is slightly citric, full of fruits like kiwi and melon. Very little dryness, and not a hint of honey, which probably proves my sense of taste is utterly clapped out. harrisoni (19423) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - OCT 16, 2008
Bottle from Dranken Geers. Hazy gold/orange with thin beige head. Yep, some honey gives it some sweetness, but I quite like it. Actually its a bit like a tripel, something like Dulle Teve, but not as good. Bit sweet and a bit of puke flavour develops. I scored it down as I drank more of it.

0.33 l bottle. Hazy golden color with yeast flocs, creamy head. Sweet honeyish aroma with tart fruitiness and hint of meaty yeastiness. Sweet, tart and perfumed flavor with bready notes, herbal- peppery spiciness and some alcohol sharpness. Nice tart and herbal taste, but yeast and alcohol disturbs a bit. 33cl, from De Hopduvel Gent, complex, balanced, cloudy, small head, good honey ale Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUL 11, 2008
Courtesy of Fonefan. The Beer floods out of the bottle, and goes on and on. The head is very weak and quickly disappearing. The color is very beautiful warm, yellow amber and the aroma has a light sweetness and notes of malt and honey. The flavour has sweetness, notes of malt, candy sugar, honey and the finish is slightly dry. The overall impression is a bit weak, but still OK. beerbuzzmontreal (3486) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUN 23, 2008
Pours a clear golden color with a lot of floating chunks and a thin white head. Pleasant aroma of honey, hops and yeast. Good flavor of honey, hops and yeast. The body is medium with a creamy texture and moderate carbonation. I didn’t expect much from this beer, but it’s quite good. Bottle picked up at Westholme, Londis, Goring-on-Thames consumed 18-06-08 Pours almost orange in colour with a large head which like Mr Benn rapidly disappears leaving just a few solitary bubbles scattered around the rim. Spicy on the nose of which mace/nutmeg was the one thing that I noted, some yeast and a soft citric waft. The flavour is not unlike the head in that it is there one minute and then gone the next, quite strange. Soft and slightly sour with spicy tangerine flavours.
