Evilman (269) - Taverny, FRANCE - JUN 6, 2017
Stoked by the rating here. This was a quite bad and unpleasant drink and I know my shit about cheap booze, really. Obviously chosen for its high abv, I wasn’t expecting much, I had even less. Typical strong trash with that rotten apple aroma in mouth, metallic taste and awful end, plenty of alcohol and nothing else... Really bad, quite a mistake. DISAPPROVED BY TAVERNY’S BLACK METAL CREW!

F: average size, white, not long lasting. C: pale gold, clear. A: malt, corn, cooked vegetables (DMS), bread, caramel. T: malty, corny sweet, caramel, oily mouthfeel, bread, hint of yeast, medium full body, normal carbonation, very light grassy bitterness, strong beer and nothing special and tasty, 0,5l can from Carrefour somewhere in west-north France.

DraftDodger (1699) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUL 25, 2016
Copenhagen 25/7 2016. 50 cl can from Aldi in Portugal. Black can with a very big "8.0" in red to reassure boozers that they get some ABV for their money. Pours clear yellow with white head. Settles as thin layer of foam. Aroma is sweet and slightly chemical. Reminds me of detergent. Some metallic alcohol and a sour edge as well. Medium carbonation and slightly thick palate. Flavor is heavily sweet followed by sharp sourness. Metallic alcohol in the aftertaste. Fairly unpleasant Strong Beer.

Clear yellow liquid, average head. Weak aroma of citrus. Light body, average carbonation. Taste is weak, bitter.

labeerinthum (1050) - Milano, ITALY - NOV 1, 2015
Bottiglia. L’intensità olfattiva è normale e la persistenza olfattiva è sufficiente. Al naso si ricordano orzo e mais. La schiuma è di bollicine medie. La frizzantezza è scarsa. Il colore è giallo dorato carico. L’amaro è deciso. Il corpo è strutturato. Il dolce è medio e soccombe all’amaro carico. L’intensità gustativa è normale e la persistenza gustativa è sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali sono di facile beva. Il finale è secco, pulito e dissetante. L’alcol è presente, poco invadente.

Calisky (3057) - ALSACE, FRANCE - NOV 6, 2014
couleur dorée, mousse qui disparait. Nez de vieille pommes, notes acides. Gout de mauvais caramel, vieux fruits, aspartame, quand même assez doux, m’attendais a pire.
