Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais and drunk at home. Clear gold thin white head. Some hop and orange flavour on the aroma. It’s a bit like a spicy Belgian blond ale but lacks the esters on the aroma. Strong blond biere de garde with plenty of orange fruit and decent hop. Pretty good I thought. A bit of floral orange. Bottled. An unclear dark golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of spices, alcohol, and a bit of malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, alcohol, dusty hops, and peaches, leading to an alcoholic finish, that leaves a burn on the tongue. Thanks yespr for sharing. 75 cl bottle from a French supermarket. The ABV on mine says 6%, I assume it is the same beer. Pours slightly hazy blond with a thin white head. Pleasant aroma of peppery hop, lemony and slightly herbal (lovage?). Sweet to start, with a gentle bitterness. Grain base evident, some sweet fruit and more herbal bitterness. Dry finish. Well carbonated, well-balanced, refreshing and drinkable.

Appearance: cloudy golden color. Medium to big head, white and very lasting.
Aroma: Floral hops, yeasty notes and fruits.
Flavor: sweetish malty start. Yeasty and reminiscences of honey and sweet-fruits like pears and apricot. Floral hoppy with light driness.
Palate: Light to medium body and low carbonation.
Remark: unbalanced sweetness, discrete. FatPhil (17334) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - SEP 13, 2013

Hazy straw, tiny tight head. Quite fruity esters in the post-pouring aromas, then something more heady or even solventy, quite sharp and almost citrussy, bergamot. Simpler in the mouth, a light graininess, and a floral hoppiness. Smoothinsh full palate if it wasn’t for quite aggressive carbonation. Better with all of the crap poured in. Solventy aspects nowhere to be seen. ot great, but does have some interesting quirkiness, and quite easily drinkable for the strength and potency.
33 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild fruity, light citric and malty. Yeasty and malty flavoured, mild fruity. Dry phenolic and malty finish. Simple blonde with quite some yeast presence. Rather dry overall impression.
