3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from La Cave à Bulles (Paris)- September ’08.
Appearance: cloudy golden color. Medium to big head, white and very lasting.
Aroma: Floral hops, yeasty notes and fruits.
Flavor: sweetish malty start. Yeasty and reminiscences of honey and sweet-fruits like pears and apricot. Floral hoppy with light driness.
Palate: Light to medium body and low carbonation.
Remark: unbalanced sweetness, discrete.
Bottle at home, as Bernache, hazy golden beer, small/medium head. Aroma is fruit, citrus, lemon. Taste is the same, bitter, some sweetness, very nice. bewyder (513) - FRANCE - SEP 5, 2016
The ABV on mine says 6%, I assume it is the same beer. Pours slightly hazy blond with a thin white head. Pleasant aroma of peppery hop, lemony and slightly herbal (lovage?). Sweet to start, with a gentle bitterness. Grain base evident, some sweet fruit and more herbal bitterness. Dry finish. Well carbonated, well-balanced, refreshing and drinkable. Alex60 (305) - - JUN 18, 2016

Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais and drunk at home. Clear gold thin white head. Some hop and orange flavour on the aroma. It’s a bit like a spicy Belgian blond ale but lacks the esters on the aroma. Strong blond biere de garde with plenty of orange fruit and decent hop. Pretty good I thought. A bit of floral orange. bottle, Hyperboissons Dijon-Chênove. Hazy golden colour, white head. Incredibly lovely hop aroma. So promising. Full-bodied, delicious malty base supporting the arimatoc hops so well. The flavour is as god as the promising aroma. Bitter-sweet, malty, intensely hoppy. Delicious, delicious, delicious. I want more of it! Much more! TBone (17673) - Pori, FINLAND - NOV 20, 2013

Fruity, slightly woody, berryish, pear in the aroma. Medium-bodied. Belgian yeast, pear, sweetish fruityness. Some alcohol bite. Nice.
Paille trouble petit col.
Aromes pain epices.
Corps rond légère amertume en final.
Excellente biere de garde. FatPhil (16336) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - SEP 13, 2013
330ml bottle (One Pint Pub, Helsinki)
Hazy straw, tiny tight head. Quite fruity esters in the post-pouring aromas, then something more heady or even solventy, quite sharp and almost citrussy, bergamot. Simpler in the mouth, a light graininess, and a floral hoppiness. Smoothinsh full palate if it wasn’t for quite aggressive carbonation. Better with all of the crap poured in. Solventy aspects nowhere to be seen. ot great, but does have some interesting quirkiness, and quite easily drinkable for the strength and potency.
