On cask at Volo (Monday post IPA Challenge). Pours a cloudy orange colour with thin white-ish cap. Aroma is predominantly fruity and grainy with some light herbal charachter. Flavour is also (slightly sour) fruit and grains with floral/herbal hoppiness. Distinctly different from most of the other beers I tried from the Challenge - not necessarily in a good or bad way, just different.

[4390-20120421] Cask. Fruity lychee cherry juice aroma. Hazy, orange amber body with a medium-lasting creamy off-white head. Light citrus grains flavour infused with squirts of butter. Medium body. Average. (6/4/7/4/13) 3.4

Lubiere (13556) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - APR 25, 2012
A hazed amber IPA with a thin white head. In aroma, grainy malt with vinous notes, British hops, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice grassy malt with floral hops, oily mouthfeel, alcohol warmth. Cask at Ontario Cask IPA Challenge, April 21, 2012.

2012-04-21. Murky dark orange amber body, small off-white head. 3+ Very leafy hop aroma, green leafy character gains tea like notes as it warms, mild muddle fruit character is pleasant. 6+ Flavour is similar, modest sweet fruity character, green leafy hops with tea like character as in the aroma. 6+ Average plus palate, light carbonation. Your take on this beer will likely hinge on how you like the hop profile, and I did not care for it, particularly the tanniny-tea like quality. Blind Tasting on Cask at Volo IPA Challenge
