3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at Proof. Smell is wet funk with lemon and fresh green banana peppers. Taste is moldy lemon grass with green vegetables. Finishes a little to quickly.
750 ml bottle into tulip glass, 2015 vintage bottling on the cork. Pours slightly hazy pale golden/yellow color with a 1-2 finger dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big lightly tart/tangy oranges, lemon, orange peel, peach, melon, pear, apple, peppercorn, light banana/clove, wheat, biscuit dough, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, light musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, oranges/peels, and pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big lightly tart/tangy oranges, lemon, orange peel, peach, melon, pear, apple, peppercorn, light banana/clove, wheat, biscuit dough, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, light musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate peppery yeast spiciness; light herbal/grassy/citrus peel bitterness, and wheat/fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of oranges, lemon, orange peel, peach, melon, pear, apple, peppercorn, light banana/clove, wheat, biscuit dough, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, light musty funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, oranges/peels, and pale malt flavors; with a great malt/spiciness balance, and zero cloying/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitter/spiciness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, bready/grainy/sticky, and lightly tangy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5%. Overall this is an excellent fruited saison. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, oranges/peels, and pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/spicy/drying finish. Very flavorful for the ABV. Well rounded saison yeast complexity, with balanced oranges/peels and pils/wheat malts. Not a whole lot of brett, but solid presence. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - DEC 2, 2016

Hazy golden color with a medium sized, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of orange, citrus, floral hops, spices, toast, earth. Taste of earth, citrus, bitter orange peel, tropical fruits, yeasty dry finish. Pailhead (6543) - Rochester Hills, Michigan, USA - JAN 9, 2016
Bottle: The aroma consists of moderate citrus/orange, Belgian yeast, hints of banana, and pear, and spice/clove. It pours a mostly transparent dull golden-orange with a two finger white head that eventually settles to a thin film outlined by a thicker ring. There is a good amount of webbing left on the sides of the glass. The flavor starts with moderate citrus/orange with some light yeast. The finish has light banana, apple/pear, bitter orange peel, and spice. It’s light-medium bodied with moderate-lively carbonation. sloshgator (770) - Orlando, Florida, USA - JUL 24, 2013
Saint Somewhere Caitlin - one word: bitter orange. Wonderful orange aroma coming from and orange-yellow cloudy pour with a decent head. Taste is a bitter orange (a little too bitter) with a slightly sour aftertaste. Finish is slightly fizzy on the palate and the orange taste savors after the swallow. Caitlin is a classy lady and a top-notch saison.

Mild citrus character, juicy orange grapefruit character from the hops, soft sweet fruity malt in the base, somewhat comparable to the dry hopped saison dupont I had earlier. Overally pretty nice. Ibrew2or3 (8913) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - SEP 6, 2012
Poured up on tap at Barley Mow with clear gold body supporting a fairly bright white head of foam. The aroma is herbal, vinegar, a touch funky and then spicy with yeastiness at the end of the draw. Man! The taste has lots going on and it all works pretty well too. There’s Saison like spiciness mixing with a peppery note and then heading into some herbal green leaf like earthiness and tartness (lemon grass maybe). Behind all of that are notes of funk, faint vinegar and body sweat. Bob! Nice even refreshing brew. dangjdangel (99) - - AUG 18, 2012
Had on tap at Southern Brewing in TampaFL. Pours a nice golden yellow with finger width head. I can't pinpoint the flavors, buy will definitely be going back for more!

Very light fruity and flowery, easier drinking than most Saisons these days. They really nailed the idea of a smooth easy drinking refreshing Saison. daknole (11048) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JUL 14, 2012
Gold pour, white head. Aroma is loaded with citrus notes from the hops and the oranges, some yeast, and light caramel malt. Oranges, yeast, light spice and some funky notes in the flavor.
