On tap @ProofBrewing, nose is all rosemary with a hint of some other sweeter spices, maybe clove. Mouthful was pretty overbearing and brutal for my taste. Pure rosemary with a little residual sweetness. This may be some people’s bag, but not mine in the least.
On tap at Kickback’s, JAX. It had been years since I’d had the base beer, recalling it as a fairly tart, heavily yeasty version of the style. Nice semi-cloudy orange pour with a lightly fluffy head. Soft yeast and funk in the nose, along with moderate amounts of pepper and pretty potent rosemary. Was never a really top notch saison to begin with, but the mix of tropical fruit and rosemary has its moments. Interesting one off. changeup45 (1731) - Lake Mary, Florida, USA - MAR 2, 2013
Draft at Mermaid Juice. The pour is a amber-copper color with a fluffy white head. This is spicy, tart, and very herbal with some citrus fruit, light florals, and yeast. At first I didn’t care for this at all; the rosemary being way too over-bearing. It did grow on me some after I got past all the rosemary to uncover a tropical fruit character. My enjoyment of this beer was short-lived, however. After about half the glass it just became too medicinal for me. I’m glad I got to try it but I like the regular version better. markwise (5441) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - DEC 10, 2012
On draft at Proof. Pours a typical Lectio hazy copper color with a white head. Nose is a strange but likable blend of sweet malt, herbs, citrus, and a rosemary pine character. Flavor follows with a bit of tartness and citrus along with a rosemary that starts off pine and goes into an herbal note. Interesting saison, typical Saint Somewhere beer- enigmatic, but in a good way. PorterPounder (8186) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - OCT 12, 2012
Tallahassee, Fl - Proof Brewing Company - on tap. Light copper colored pour, snow white head, brief lacing. Aroma is that of a rosemary bush and a hint of alcohol. Flavor has some canned fruit cocktail notes, some white grapes and a nice dollop of rosemary that sits just right, hint of band-aids in the back end. Nice sticky mouthfeel. Enjoyable.

Tap at proof. Rosemary and funky malt aroma. Taste is odd mix of mustard, Grape, yeast, herbal, cheese funk. Interesting sipper, but nothing I’d need again. rbrazell (1698) - Florida, USA - SEP 30, 2012
Draft at Redlight Redlight. Aroma of fresh rosemary, yeasty funk and light spices. Flavor of lemon peels, fresh rosemary sprigs, yeast funk and herbal spices. Dry, earthy finish. Pretty tasty and very interesting beer. jbruner (5026) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - SEP 30, 2012
On tap at redlight in orlando. Pours a hazy golden orange with dissipating off-white head and good lacing. Aroma of belgian funk, and zesty rosemary spice. Taste follows and makes my tongue tingle. Super weird, but amazingly so. Intetesting to say the least. drowland (8895) - Georgia, USA - SEP 17, 2012
9/17/12. On tap at Kickback’s in Jacksonville. Hazy amber pour with a nice khaki head that sticks and laces a bit. Light, funky tartness hits up front followed by plenty of luxurious rosemary, more herbal aspects, fruity esters, and lingering yeast. Nice light tartness in the flavor as well with some dark malts, sugar, yeast, esters, and plenty of that rosemary. Herbal and oddly refreshing. Tasty.
