750ml bottle from Quake1028; Nose is of pink wines grapes, yeast, tartness, and spices; copper with a small off-white head; flavor is cloves, nutmeg, light fruitiness, light sweetness, and very light contrasting tartness. Interesting but not great! unclemattie (4406) - Georgia, USA - JAN 7, 2008
750mL bottle. Light amber color. Aroma of honey. Flavor is of honey (mead-ish) Slight bitterness in the finish, Silphium (3198) - Traverse City, Michigan, USA - DEC 31, 2007
Bottle shared by artusory. Hazy copper/fiery orange body, medium off-white to buff head. Light tart, fruity nose, again with the plastic, band-aid notes I picked up in the Saison Athene. Sweet, sugary body with a light earthy finish, tainted by plasticy phenols. The sweetness is rather flabby. I had a hard time getting past the phenols, and couldn’t enjoy this much. lampeno420 (320) - Zeeland, Michigan, USA - DEC 31, 2007
Very drinkable belgian strong. A little yeasty taste, not sure how old it was. A little sour taste, and very well hidden alcohol. rudolf (2360) - Buffalo, New York, USA - DEC 27, 2007
Received in the homebrew mystery swap. Slightly cloudy gold, white head with nice lacing. Nose is lightly fruity cork, some wood, yeast, grapes. Flavor is corky malt, soft yeasty fruit, a bit oxidized in the finish. Very nice.

Bottle: Coppery hue with a small fading head and minimal lace. The aroma has notes of apricot, cherry, bready and caramel malts, hint of lacto funk, cardamom, clove and a note of band-aid medicinal vapor. The taste starts with candy sugar and old bread, hint of cobweb, yeasty and wheaty, banana and plum fruit note in the background. The mouth feel is soft and medium-bodied. Not shabby put left wanting more. (THX Ryan) mcox90 (2140) - Wilton, New Hampshire, USA - DEC 25, 2007
750ml bottle. Gift from Secret Santa. Pours a cloudy amber color with almost no head at all. Almost no carbonation. Nose is of light fruits, apples, pears, maybe oranges. Taste is mostly the same. Don’t know how old my bottle was as I could not find a date on it. Pretty good. WeeHeavySD (3387) - Portland, Oregon, USA - DEC 23, 2007
750 from Degarth. Shared with Bartzilla. Pretty damn tasty, really nice citrus flavors and a light refreshing taste from a belgian strong. Pretty tasty, I really liked this. tyler_mn (2464) - SLP, Minnesota, USA - DEC 21, 2007
750ml bottle from SoLan. Lots of sweet fruit on the aroma: crushed green grapes, apples, pear must. Caramel and gingerbread. Pours muddy orange with a thin white head leaving spotty lacing. Caramel apple is what instantly hits my tongue. A hint of spice followed by a necessary dry yeast flavor. Creamy. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Quite a bit better than the Saison. bfeldmann (1050) - Wilmington, Delaware, USA - DEC 19, 2007
Poured a light amber color no head or lacing. Aroma was peppery and grapes/pears. Flavor was much the same some other fruit in there. Mouthfeel was flat big time. This bottle wasn’t good, not sure if it was a bad bottle.
