750ml bottle. Opened to an explosive cork. Poured a hazy golden color with a small sized head. Aromas of earth, leather, brett, and fruity. Tastes of fruits, brett, and some rinds.

2009 Bottle...pours a honey color with no head...lifeless. aroma has honey...fruity...apricot...and yeasty...a bit funky. Flavor has some hay and honey...citrus rind...musty. mouthfeel is light and watery with a honey/grassy finish. Disappointing.

75cl vintage 2009 bottle shared by tderoeck @Post TdG tasting 2013. - Unduly aged, now musty-cellared. Pours a flat and cloudy apricot gold. Balsamic-infused sherry and plum liquor. Hop residu adding off notes.  Infected? mustiness. Layered, funky, balsamic. The original yeast strain funk has probably already deteriorated, so what this still has to do with a refreshingly bitter/funky saison is left to guess/one would have to sample it fresh/to do it justice.

22/IV/13 - 75cl bottle @ Rampkrot (Deurne) - BB: n/a - 2009 vintage (2013-365) Thanks to Nate for the bottle and to Paul for the transport!

Pretty cloudy orange bee, small off-white head, unstable, dissipates immediately. Aroma: very bready, honey, plums, sweet, dried apricots, orange peel, very oxidised. MF: soft carbon, light to medium body. Taste: honey, pretty sweet, very oxidised, orange peel, almonds, bit citric, but mainly just very old. Aftertaste: little citric, honey, orange peel, almonds. Was expecting something more mouth puckering sour...

75cl bottle courtesy of Tderoeck @ Post Toer de Geuze tasting. Fresh. Dommage.

Courtesey of tdeoeck. 75 cl. bottle sampled. Very bright orange, hazy, no head. Rotting orange peel, medicinal, aspirin, bitter herbs, sweet mandarin, sweet spices,… Lightly watery, light orange juice, hint of peel, aspirin touch, sweet spices, fruity yeast, apples, dry herbal, prob. some infection but not per se in a bad way. Completely flat. Agreable.

UPDATED: APR 25, 2013 Bottle courtesy of tderoeck, thank you sir! Murky orange color, tiny white edge head. Aroma of oranges, peach, grass. Taste is floral orange. Not bad.

dagimp (1008) - Philly, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 9, 2012
Poured from a 750 into a snifter. His beer is just a mess. Great aroma once the corked was popped, slowly turned into ass vinegar. Very light mouthfeel with zero carbonation. Taste was hopeless. Mild vinegar, two day old ass, apple juice and mild raspberry funk. Feh! This was useless, a complete drain pour. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

St. Somewhere saison Athens bretted with clausenii. Cage marked with ’C’. 750ml bottle from a recent trade with a Floridian... Opens with small hiss and yields a clearly transparent golden cognac colored elixir with very minimal head, almost still... Aroma of spice and ginger up front which maintains the base saison it seems. After warming it emits more of a smarty type candied semi-tart sweetness. Brett soon to follow shortly there afterwards... Flavors are a bit more of the same but with more of a semi-socky musty Brett feeling fruitiness. Semi-tart earthy feel throughout. Verly lightly carbonated but still pretty enjoyable. A light pithy bitterness towards the backend. Wanted a little more liveliness in terms of mouthfeel. Nice and deserving of a better score had the carbonation been more spot on. 7/3/8/3/16
