3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Aroma is basement funk, really old and rustic nose, color is foggy unfiltered gold with light lace, flavor is funk and added spices, black pepper really stands out in the flavor, body is light and the finish is super dry, the brett obviously had plenty of time to chew this guy down to 1. Interesting saison, i would recommend it to anyone who can appreciate a wild ale.
Bottle share. Cloudy golden with foamy ring and some lace. Nose is peppery with some yeasty funk. Spicy with a slight lemony background. Dry with a light carbonation. Vrry nice Clareeses (191) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - MAY 6, 2017
Bottle purchased at Gezellig. Skunky, off aroma - not pleasant. Pours a opaque light golden yellow, little head retention but highly carbonated. Taste is primarily wild yeast - lots of weird, funky flavors - and savory with a little bit of vanilla and nutmeg at the end. Certainly and interesting beer that makes my palate do a double take - to be honest I think an overall 3.8 rating is low given the taste because it is so unjque, but the skunky aroma unfortunately lowers this rating BrettTaylor (784) - Radford, Virginia, USA - FEB 23, 2017
Poured from bomber into tulip. Pours a hazy gold with tall white head that dissipates pretty quickly. Aroma is a wheat, touch of spice and a bit of funk. It’s very spicy on the palate - pretty sharp on the tongue. Not my favorite saison, but certainly not bad either. 60minuteman (1765) - West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 25, 2016
Bottle from Beer Store pours hazy bright yellow with two finger head. Smells of funk, citrus, spice, cow piss and yeast. Earthy. It’s very spicy. Chamomile and rosemary are definitely in there. It took me a while to get used to this one but it’s wild. fluffy (2461) - St Petersburg, Florida, USA - SEP 15, 2016
I'm pretty sure I had this one. Definitely very saison-like without a doubt. Good stuff.

Draught @ All In Beer Fest 2015. Pours hazy yellow with a frothy white head that leaves some spotty trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is slightly fruity, slightly spicy and rustic with crackers, sourdough bread, cereal, red pears, hay, dry soil, white pepper corns and lemon zest. Taste is tiny sweet, slightly bitter, tiny fruity and spicy phenolic. Mouthfeel is soft, slightly dry and light to medium bodied. Finish is bitter with crackers, sourdough bread, cereal, red pears, hay, dry soil, white pepper corns, coriander, lemon zest and hints of rubber. Bit unrefined but overall refreshing and decent.
