I bought this bottle at the moustache blanche at Paris. I drank it at home relax. Usually, I am not a fan of the smocked beer but this one is nice, in my opinion, because of the sideof dryness and you have a touch of smocked, the color is brow/dark, thin foam, usual carbonation, thin and white foam, there are notes of malt, I don’t really smell the side of rye, a bit fruity, watery but for the style is really dry and easy to drink for a beginner.

Toasted malts with a hint of smoke. Light and a little bit watery end. It could need just a littble bit more intensity

0,33 bottle. Dark cloudy brow/orange with minimal head. Light smokey aroma. The flavour is kind of disappointing with too much vinegar tones and also barely tasted the smoke.Medium-light body.

33 cl bottle bought at the Rennes market. Pours murky brown but not black? Many small bubles and fluffy beige head that vanishes quickly. Sourness is what dominates on aromas. Roasted and smoked notes in the end. Most of what I drink these days is either weird and sour or cloying and too sweet. Gimme a good one please!

Somewhat opaque ruby red / brown with light brown lacing foam head. Aroma is weak smokey, more light caramel. Taste is likewise, not too strong smokey. Still a nice beer. (Velp 201403)

75cl bottle Appearance: Pours a clear deep brown beer with a small greyish head Aroma: toasted malts, caramel and a bit of chocolate liquorice Taste: caramel, some Red fruits, toasted malts and some yeast, light sweet and a bit liquorice, some smoke tones in the background. Medium Carbonation, Medium texture. If this supposed smoked beer then it’s way to subtile.

Bottle, bought @ La Maison de 100 Biere Bretonnes, Locronan. Pours deep red brown with a medium, creamy off-white head. Aroma has roasted malts, dark chocolate, light liqourice. Medium carbonation, fine dry and creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has roasted malts, light ashy, lovely walnuts, elegant smoked, caramel. Very good bitterness in the finish.
