Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais and drunk at home. Hazy russet amber colour lasting cream head. Hoppy strawberry grapefruit sherbet aroma. Some malt in the mouth. Hops are really up my alley though. I like the sweetness. Light bitterness, but the sherbet hop is rather good. Some red fruits. OK herby fruity hop

Amertume 3/5 Douceur 3/5

Thanks Geisser for this bottle that we share together in our flat, at Lausanne. Great night and great beer after one raclette, not so good for the stomach and liver but it is a dream for the epicurian like me. This one is not really an amber, it sounds more a pale ale with a fruity side. The color is brown/orange and troubled, white foam, normal carbonation. The taste is overall well balanced, malty with notes of plum, good side of hop and bitterness, we are more on the american tradition, good sensation in the mouth.

UPDATED: DEC 8, 2017 Kolor bursztynowy z mocnym zmętnieniem. Piana to ogromna, puszysta, biała czapa, która szczelnie przykrywa płyn. Jest trwała, pozostawia po sobie sporo zdobień. Aromat to przede wszystkim moc owoców, tropikalnych i cytrusów. Wysycenie wysokie w kierunku do średniego. Ciało średnie, bardzo duża pijalność.

UPDATED: JUL 30, 2017 330ml bottle (Klaus, Tallinn) (5:3:5:4:13=3.0)
Cloudy red, small scummy head. Sourish reddish sweet malts, a bit fruity, stinky. Moderately full sweet palate, but crisp carbonation has a bite, in particular with the nice noble bitter bite. Taste is some sweetish caramalt. Finish has a good bite, that’s probably the best bit. Does cover the alcohol too.

Super murky reddish brass colour. Big, creamy head. Aroma is malt, red berries, and soil. Taste is bitter and tart with a smooth finish and a lasting citrus and berry taste.
