Limited release using Brewers Gold and Strisselspalt hops. 60 EBU / 37,5cl bottle.

The US version is called Antipode and is 10% ABV.

Many thanks for this beer to tderoeck. Zero piany, kolor jasno bursztynowy, potem metnisty, piaskowy niemal.

Aromat dorżdzy, wanilia, przyprawy- niezbyt przyjemny i zachęcający. Smak podobnie- najgorszy BW jaki piłem w życiu...

Not particular good for a barley wine. It does its job as a decent beer. But not overly impressed.

Lore (2863) - Budapest, HUNGARY - DEC 15, 2016
very hazy orange-ish brown colour, no head at all; aroma of herbal medicine notes, caramel biscuit, some floral honey and maybe some vanilla and oak barrel notes; taste of herbal medicine, syrupy sweetness, maybe some minimal vanilla; practically no carbonation at all; among the worst barley wines, I’ve ever tasted...

33cl bottle. Hazy orange amber with nice off-white head. Malts, honey and herbal aroma. Taste is sweet with fruity and honey notes. Overall, a bit too sweet.

Flaska beertempel brygge. Förhållandevis dåligt tryck i beskan

Süßer, fast zuckriger Antrunk. Mild würzig, leicht brotig. Unsüffig, Nicht mein Fall. 9/7/7/7/7/7

Bottle at Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Deep orange colour. Dark fruit sweetness, caramel, malt, light hops and spice. Warming finish. Map reading and drinking don’t go well together, is what I’ve learnt..

06-Feb-2016-Flasche-0,33L.BB 02/2016-fast schon vintage. Hellbraun, trüb, leichtes gushing, massiver beiger Schaum/viel schwebendes sediment. Aroma: Malz, Honig, Karamell. Antrunk süß, karamell, Honig - ähnelt stark einem süßen Met ....

Bottle. After opening I lost almost half of the bottle, it just exploded. Dark copper, white minimal head. In aroma fruits - peach, berries, caramel. In taste sweet with same notes, overly carbonated, unpleasant on the palate. Full bodied. In overall there are far better barley wines, this beer is not worth money I spent.
