Leighton (22561) - London, Greater London, - JUL 16, 2012
UPDATED: APR 1, 2013 Tap at Moeder Lambic, Brussels. Pours dark, black-brown with a creamy, tan head. Has a dark roast aroma with some burnt sugar and definite citrus poking through. Nice flavor if slightly thin. Lightly sweet with some roast, light plastic, burnt cocoa, and some burnt citrus rind. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Burnt roast malt finish, with some wood, scorched earth, cocoa, mild citrus and grass. Pretty solid. (3.6)

Bottle at the ChrisO Snow Tasting, London. Pours dark brown with a fine, tan cream head. Moderate roast in the nose, some burnt toast. Light sweet flavor with dry and toasty bread, hints of cocoa. Light in body with average carbonation. Somewhat dry to finish with more cocoa and earthy bitterness. Kind of bland this time around. (3.1)

UPDATED: NOV 20, 2017 Bottle from 2be, Bruges; shared with Anke. Pours cloudy black with a lasting, foamy, beige head that leaves lacing. The aroma contains coffee (roast), dark chocolate, fruity hops, some dark fruits & licorice, bit of smoke. It tastes medium toasty bitter, very light sour and light umami; dry, smoky finish. Medium body, slick to watery texture, fizzy carbonation. Promising aroma, rather short in taste and thin in palate.

Cimbasso (1031) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 3, 2017
Bottle from Belgisk Brryg. Pours a very dark brown with a huge foaming tan head. Roasted aromas and a taste which has flavours of toast, coffee and oak, as well as citrus notes. The finish is almost like a black IPA. An interesting juxtaposition of flavours. Very drinkable.

Mye smak i bare 4,3%.

Icedwarf (1851) - Etten-Leur, NETHERLANDS - SEP 29, 2017

SylvainCFC (360) - Brussels, BELGIUM - JUN 18, 2017

FinnIckler (919) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 12, 2017
Bottle from le comptoir des Saveurs in Brussels. Pours dark brown. Nose is slightly metallic, bread, toffee leather. Palate is chocolate, leather, citrus in the finish. Good.
