Pours deep deep chestnut, bordering on black with a firm, creamy, off-white head. Complex caramel malts aroma, light vinious, plums, a bit of coffee and liqourice. Medium carbonation, light grainy but lovely dryish and very creamy palate. Flavour has great milky chocolate, some hazelnuts, caramel, light toasted caramel, some mild coffee. A bit vinious and warming with a mild, but firm bitterness towards the end. Lovely.

(Draught at Little Delirium Café, Brussels, 26 Oct 2013) Black colour with creamy, pale brown head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of black coffee, dark chocolate and cocoa. Malty, roasted taste with black coffee, dark chocolate, liquorice, black rye bread and a dry finish with a generous roasty bitterness. Almost full body, quite dry. Well made and tasty stout. Clear medium to dark red brown color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light brown to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, chocolate, cacao, moderate hoppy, moderate yeasty, barnyard, leather. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, chocolate - cacao, brett. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
